LIFTING Rotating Lifting Points in the Energy Sector
The changes in the energy sector in recent years to a more environmental friendly energy source and processes has generated an investment boom in new process methods, related heavy components and machines to be installed.
In this field our Rotating Lifting Point (RLP) particularly comes to the front as a key component for safe handling of heavy process equipment. This is due to its unique design of having the lowest bending moment in the bolt compared to all other solutions on the market.
For handling of heat exchangers to the bio-fuel industry the RLP has become the solution provider par excellence.
The heaviest models, 30 – 40 t, are handled with RLP articulating links at both ends of a bolt through a vertical machine body plate, all to form a united lifting point for each of four top corners of the machine.
This solution allows loading in any direction with any slinging arrangement both for lifting and lashing of the load.
